Bonus Mini Review!: Wires and Nerve #1 by Marissa Meyer

published: January 31st 2017 by Fiewel & Friends

pages: 240

genre: YA fantasy; graphic novel

series: Wires and Nerve #1 (and a continuation of the Lunar Chronicles)

I really loved this book (well, technically graphic novel)! Iko from the Lunar Chronicles is the main character in this series and is helping take care of wolf-hybrids that have gone rogue on Earth, but all of the favorite characters from before are present too. For those who have read the previous series, this takes place after Winter and before the short stories in Stars Above. It fills in some holes, has it’s own interesting plot, and gives some more details for the events those who’ve read Stars Above know are coming!

I can’t wait to read more! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the Lunar Chronicles and wants to read a continuation. To truly appreciate this book, I would definitely recommend reading that series first. So much depth will be missed without all of the background story from the previous series.

I rated this graphic novel a 5 out of 5. I love me some Lunar Chronicles!
